The Downtown Atlanta area is home to a wide variety of neighborhoods, each containing their own unique style, activities, buildings, restaurants, businesses, and attractions. The City of Atlanta is home to 242 official neighborhoods, as well as some districts that are either a subsection of a neighborhood or a grouping of parts of two or more neighborhoods. Some notable neighborhoods and districts include: Atlantic Station, Castleberry Hill, Centennial Hill district, Luckie Marietta district, Sweet Auburn and Cabbagetown.
